Appointment Types
If you have corns, hard skin or difficult nails please book a Foot Care – Chiropody treatment. If you have a foot deformity, arthritic pains, trapped nerves, plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendon pain, choose Foot Pain Consultation. This appointment will include some gait analysis. We may also discuss Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy with you. If you would like to be assessed to see if surgery could help your foot problem, please book a Foot Surgery Consultation.
Gait Analysis assesses movement to cure pains in the back, legs, knees, ankles and feet. We assess children, adults, athletes and elderly patients. If you have ongoing walking problems or sport injuries please book a Gait Analysis If you have an ingrown toenail please choose the Ingrowing Toenail Option. We will remove the ingrowing portion of nail under local anaesthetic, provide antibiotics if necessary and see you for one or two dressings for the inclusive charge. Verrucae can be treated with freezing. This is known as cryotherapy. Book this appointment if your verrucae is smaller than 6 mm in diameter and has been present for six months or less. Otherwise book a Free Foot Care Check as your treatment may be more complicated. We will discuss your treatment options at this free assessment.
Fungal nails can be treated in a variety of ways. Your initial appointment is for assessment. A sample of the distorted nail will be taken for testing to identify the infecting organism. The treatment options will be explained do you at this initial Fungal Nail Assessment Appointment.
